Saturday 9th November: 10am to 3pm at Lechlade Craft Barn

Learn how to make traditional Dorset buttons with tutor Marilyn Gough.

In this workshop  you will make one or two simple buttons, then extend your skills by embellishing a larger button with beads and/or different stitches to produce a brooch. Thread and rings will be provided along with seed beads.
Dorset buttons are not difficult to make but can be fiddly; however, they come with a warning – they are highly addictive!
£40 including tools and materials, tea and coffee. Please bring a beading needle, sewing needle, embroidery needle, small scissors and a packed lunch. If you wish bring any small beads or 4 ply wool to add to your design (though these will be provided).
